My family loooooooves chocolate. We also love Nintendo. Well, a little less, due to the current leadership choices. But, still, we love Nintendo. When I got The Unofficial Super Mario Cookbook and saw the Chain Chomp Cake, I knew I had to make it. So, I did. It is the moistest, chocolatey-est, softest chocolate cake I’ve ever made. I didn’t have heavy cream, so I used butter and milk substitution, it…. Did not work. But, after the “ganache” mixture had cooled enough, and with enough powdered sugar and cocoa powder, it became an amazing frosting! I brought it to NOW dinner, and it was completely gone at the end of the dinner. So this recipe? I recommend it. Well, that’s all from me! Happy baking!
